1.1 Introduction
Deccan Exploration Services Private Limited (DESPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deccan Gold Mines Limited (DGML). DGML is public limited company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE Script Code: 512068). DESPL is involved in gold exploration activities in the state of Karnataka since 2003 and is working towards its long-standing vision of developing a producing gold mine in India.
