Hutti Block Prospecting Licence (PL) applications of our wholly owned subsidiary Deccan Exploration Services Private Limited (DESPL) — hearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court on November 16, 2020 — Update

We write to intimate that the matter came up for hearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court on November 16, 2020 (Court No. 10) as Item No.3 through Video Conferencing.
When the matter was called, our Senior Advocate drew the attention of the Court to the non-implementation of the Judgment and Order dated May 8, 2018 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court even after passage of more than two-and-a-half years. Further, at the last hearing in the matter before the Court Registrar on December 4, 2019, the State of Karnataka was given a period of 4 weeks to file its reply in the matter. Till date, the State of Karnataka has neither filed its reply nor has taken any action to implement the Judgment and Order dated May 8, 2018.
