Ganajur Mining Lease (ML) application of our wholly-owned subsidiary viz., Deccan Exploration Services Private Limited (DESPL) – Writ Petition No 17018/2021 filed before the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka
We write to intimate that the captioned Writ Petition came up for hearing before the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka today.
At the outset, our Legal Counsel prayed that our Writ Petition be delinked from the other Writ Petitions that are challenging the vires of the MMDR Amendment Act, 2021 since we are not challenging the same now and our matter be heard in the light of a substantially similar matter in re: Indocil in WP No. 1920/2021 in which the Hon’ble High Court was pleased to pass a Judgment dated May 27, 2022 in favour of Indocil.
